I’m All Black...

Hey Sensibles! Welcome “black” I mean back to another post of slay. Trust you all had a great start to the new year since January finally decided to give up the ghost.

Well, as you can see I’m clad in my all black like Beyonce Grammy Weekend. Screaming sophistication and glamour but all black is all that and more.

There are two kinds of people; those who wear black a lot, its a staple in their wardrobe and those that wear black every now and then. Well, I’m in the first gang! All black can never be wrong.

I think all black adds a sense of authority and sometimes an air of mystery. Wearing all black makes a statement without being too vulgar, plus its easy to style and caters to all body types.

All black was once synonymous with death or funerals but the fashion game has changed.  Now we see black being worn by guests to weddings and formal events. Even bridal parties are seen dressed in all black.

Wearing all black means that you no longer need to struggle to match. Adding the perfect accessory for color is always a good idea. An all black lover will know that adding a statement shoe, bag or jewelry can make you stand out in any crowd.

What stain? No need to worry about that when wearing all black. If you are someone who gets stuff spilled on your clothes all the time, then all black is the way to go. Those stains won’t be visible baby.

Black will always be the new black! Point, blank, period… No orange or any other color will/can take its place. Black is classic, you can never go wrong in all black unless its an all white party of course. There is a reason for owning a little black dress, so you can pop it out every now and then. Get it girl…

Well this ain’t no little black dress, well kind of. This black French Connection over all has been in my closet for a while, worn it once. Since I wanted an all black look with a little drama and edge I paired it with this layered ruffle sleeve lace top from SheIn $9.

Did I say when wearing all black you need to add a statement piece? Yes! And I did just that and more. Adding the ASOS black lace bow strap socks $13 was the perfect statement and it matched my lace top. You already know that I’m team extra and the feather heels $18.40 from Boohoo did the trick. The transparent gold trim bag is also from Boohoo and earrings from Aldo. I tossed the wig and I’m back to my coils…

Thank you all for reading and I’ll be “black” oops, I mean back soon with another slay. Don’t forget to leave a comment below, let me know what you think and questions you may have.
