What is blazer? A blazer is a type of jacket, typically cut longer than a suit jacket and comes in a variety of colors and styles. Do you own a blazer? You might! Check your closet to make sure, because if you do, then you no longer have to wear it as a jacket. You can spruce it up to be more than that.

A blazer is now a staple in a fashionista’s closet and an inspiration to the trendy blazer dress style. It could be an over-sized blazer that extends to the knees or it could be a dress already designed like a blazer. Whatever the case, styled the right way for any occasion would be trend worthy.

Today I will show you how I styled this Daniella Check Blazer Dress from Boohoo. Got it on sale and the sale is still going on so grab yours quick, it comes in red as well. Its double-breasted with gold buttons that I particularly love.

For Work…

Who says you can’t be stylish for work? Nobody ever! The blazer dress can be worn to work as a long blazer paired with a pants or skirt. I went with a pants since that was readily available. The navy BCBG tailored pants was perfect to bring off the office look.

I did not accessorize too much since its work and I didn’t want to give them that “Too glam to give a damn” look so early in the morning. LOL… The earrings are from Aldo with a simple necklace from TJMax. The navy bag (old) is from one of my Friday Fashion finds at TJMax and Forever21 pointie toe heels.

Brunch/Evening Out…

After leaving work I decided that I’m going to chill with my girls, have a few drinks and just chit-chat. I lose the pants, tank top and work bag. I added a gold choker from Aldo and gold belt from SheIn. The earrings (gifted) matched the gold buttons on the blazer perfectly and of course some boy shorts (no explanation needed for that).

Can I tell you how much I love these thigh high boots from Public Desire?! They were perfect to add as they go high on the legs to give off that leggings/stocking look. The transparent clutch with gold rim is also from Boohoo and the broach is from TJMax.

To the Club/Party…

The day is not over! Where the party at? Even though the previous look can also be worn to a party as well, I preferred to the ditch the boots for these neon yellow pointie toe shoes (gifted from my sister’s closet). Don’t judge me! Legs Out!

If there was a go to accessory, a belt would definitely be mine. I love belts and therefore I added this Off-White inspiration belt from I am Fashion Boutique. The mini green bag is from Bealls Outlet and the gold hoops from Forever21, comes in silver as well. Bracelet and rings are from Burlington.
