One and Done...

Hey my lovely people…

As many of you know from previous posts I am a jumpsuit lover or as I passionately call it, one and done. A jumpsuit is always a good choice of clothing once styled right.

Jumpsuits are statement pieces and wearing them shifts the focus from the regular pants/skirt with a top or a dress. You are now exploring more fashionable territories when you choose to wear a jumpsuit.

Some women will stay away from wearing this trend-worthy style. And I must say I understand why; its not the easiest piece in the closet to style. Choose the wrong accessories or the wrong fit and you may have to throw the whole damn closet away… LOL!

Just like other pieces in the closet, jumpsuits come in different styles. Choosing the right one depends on your need or occasion. A jumpsuit can be formal for an evening look or casual for a daytime look. They can be loose fitting or more body hugging. Choose your style base on your body type and the occasion.

Accessorizing your jumpsuit is not as easy as you might think, it requires a bit of thought. One and done isn’t really one done after all. To have this jumpsuit game on lock you need to pay attention to your shoes, jewelry and a belt. Finish that statement look like a pro!

With the right jumpsuit and accessories, you will definitely be in the running for an eye-catching moment at the event you show up to.

Of course, I would be wearing a jumpsuit for this post! What would this post be if I wasn’t? Off-the-shoulder, bright colors and Ankara print are perfect combination to a killer jumpsuit. I can see my self on a nice evening out in this body hugging piece.

SGTC Clothing wasn’t playing no games with this one. Made and shipped from Nigeria and I’m not disappointed at all. The fabric for the body section is thick and nice and holds the body in the right places and let’s not forget the sleeves. The Ankara print poofy sleeves brings out the statement in this Sade jumpsuit.

For additional statement I had to accessorize right. The earrings are from Burlington and gold shoes from ASOS. Waist bags are in and if you don’t have a legitimate waist bag you can always improvise. This Bebe cross-body bag (gifted) was perfect for the trick. The strap is detachable and that made it easy to wrap it around the waist and BOMB I have a waist bag.
