 Mini Dresses

Mini dresses fall above the knees and tend to be a little flirty as you will be showing some leg work. With all the heat that summer brings mini dresses are perfect for the season and they come in a variety of colors and prints. They can be styles with heels or sandals, sneakers or even nice pair of combat boots.

 Midi Dresses

If you are not interested in showing too much leg but still want to join in on the action, then a midi dress is for you. These dresses fall below the knee but above the ankle and are sometimes described as hitting mid-calf. Even though the midi dress is not as flirty as the mini dress, it has its place and more and more you’re seeing designers add their special touch to make them more appealing. They can be spaghetti straps, off-the-shoulder, one shoulder etc. You can add a nice belt to cinch your waist, throw some heels on to elevate your look.

 Maxi Dresses

When you hear of summer dresses, maxi dresses are the first things that come to mind, well at least for me. They are the original summer dresses and I think because of their length and structure they will continue to hold that place. As the years go by you see the maxi dresses transform with different styles and fabric, not to mention the colors and prints. Maxi dresses are long and fall below the ankles. Some would argue that it’s the least appealing but if styled right the maxi dress can definitely be eye catching.

 Slip Dresses

You hear the word slip and you automatically think of undergarment but that’s not it at all. The slip dress trend is here and won’t be going away any time soon. The slip dress is mostly made out of silk or satin fabric and is cut on the bias and feathers spaghetti straps. The slip dress is great for the summer and vacation. No need to worry about style and print as the slip dress comes in mini, midi and maxi. They can be styled however you want, with heels or sneakers!

 Knitted/Ribbed Dress

You might be asking why wear a knitted/ribbed dress during summer but if you get a light knitted/ribbed dress then you are in for the win this summer. Knitted fabric is soft to the feel and the little spaces in the fabric allows air to enter making your body really cool. These dresses make great vacation pieces and can be styled however you choose.

Baby Doll Dresses

This type of dress has made a comeback and I am here for it. This is the perfect dress to wear whenever you are going out to consume a lot of food, it will hide the food baby easily. The baby doll dress falls above the knees and are loose-fitting with an empire waist. They are really girly and mostly features a high neck and long sleeves. The colors and prints are very eye catching and you can easily layer a denim jacket over it to elevate your look.
