Hey my loves, happy Wednesday! I hope all is well with you all…
So, my not so long summer break is over, and I am currently in the middle of getting my classroom ready for my babies return next Monday and sitting through these long meeting/PDs. Nonetheless, I am excited to meet my class and we are going to have an exciting year.
Anyways let me get into this post. I won’t be long. Of late I’ve been getting a few questions about myself, so I felt like killing two birds with one stone; answer your questions and show off my outfit.
I am from the likkle but tallawah country called Jamaica; St. Catherine to be exact. Not everybody is from Kingston, OK! I now live in Fort Pierce, Florida. My grandma raised me, so you know I had to be on the straight and narrow path or else, you know the rest.Listen my belly have no bottom, in other words I’m greedy. Don’t judge me, I love food, I’m a foodie!
I love to laugh and loud too. Please don’t do anything in front of me to make me laugh at you. You probably will not speak to me again. Hahahaha… And my friends and family will tell you to stay away from me when I’m laughing, I tend to hit the person closest to me LOL…I’m sociable, my face may not look like it when you see me but trust me I’m nice, so say hi.
I may act tough but I’m such a cry baby. Why am I telling these people this though?I’ve loved fashion for a long time. Going through high school I wanted to be a fashion designer. I am a self-proclaimed fashionista. I can dress hunni… I don’t limit myself when it comes to fashion.I am a sports fanatic, especially soccer. I played soccer in high school and is the excuse for the corns on my toes.
My closet is off limits, that’s my heaven on earth and where you can find me whenever I go missing. My favorite accessory is a belt. I love belts and wish I had them in every color and style.I don’t have a middle name. Don’t ask me why, that’s a question for my mother.I speak fluent English and fluent patios (patwah), catch me on a regular day and you never know I’m a teacher. My grandmother would be so mad at me. Gal chat bad, LOL…
My go to outfit is a jumpsuit. Something about a one and done that I just love. I am the oldest child for my parents, I don’t act like it though. I didn’t ask to be born first.I am addicted to Law and Order with my favorite being Special Victims Unit.I love to dance even though I am out of practice, but I still have a few moves. I love kids; they are honest. Whenever you need an authentic opinion on something ask a kid but be prepared for the truth. I am left handed but there are certain tasks that I can’t perform with my left hand; like using the scissors. Guess I’m ambidextrous!
I do it all; I can do hair, I make wigs, I do my own make up, edit pictures, I alter my own clothes if needs be, I decorate and the greatest of them all I’m a superhero; I teach…Did I mention that I’m a chatter box? Oh Jesus, once I get comfortable around you prepare your ears please! Back in the days I didn’t like my first name and so most people would call me by my last, Scott. I didn’t like my first name because it was too common, so many other girls and I had the same first name. I’m grown now, I’m over it. I love having fun, I’m a kid at heart. I love playing with the kids and enjoy beating them at whatever game we are playing.
I am scared of razor blades, omg I freak out whenever I see one.I love sea food, I would eat a fish right now. I also love rice, eat it everyday well not since the pass month. I went on a no rice diet for one month. My natural hair is growing so nice after the big chop 10 months ago. Can you tell I don’t know how to act? LOL…I am asthmatic and prefer when its cold. My asthma acts a fool when the time is hot.
I used to hate my nose, I thought it was too big and wasn’t straight like some people’s. I’ve grown to accept my flaws and I’m in love with myself.If I ride for you, trust me the wheels have to fall off before I stop and only you can mess that up.And finally, I love to sleep. If I don’t have anything to do in the morning I will sleep until noon or later. I hate when someone wake me from my sleep, that’s like one of the worse things you can do to me.

My outfit today is my celebratory Jamaican Independence attire. I choose to wear this yellow pants suit because I feel that it depicts my country’s warm and bright spirit. I bought it a while back from Boohoo, on sale of course and they are having a 50% off sale right now.
I accessorized with the green velvet leather clover waist bag/crossbody bagfrom Maje and the slingback kitten heel shoes from ASOS. I went with gold accessories because I feel it complimented the yellow better. The metal beltis from SheIn, necklace Forever21 and rings and bracelet is from Burlington.
